Wow Butcher, that looks so painfully easy that now I am embarrassed.

I will take you guys' advice and just go all the way with it. Will also get someone competent to look at the clutch for me while I am at it.

I'm not advising one way or the other just showing you that the timing should not be a factor of your decision. You know the tractor history, hours and condition better than anyone so make a wise decision based on those factors. I would have been thrilled if my tractor could have been made reliable with rings and a head gasket, however it has been a enjoyable doing the engine rebuild.

Personally, I think you've made a wise choice that will ensure that you get many years of reliable service out of your MF-135 tractor after the engine rebuild is complete. :)
