Received about six to eight inches of snow so far... I left work an hour early today because I thought I better clear the driveway before it got dark. I let Allie run around the yard while I plowed, but she thought the snow was too deep for her and decided she rather watch from the porch.

Around here, topsoil and fill dirt are sold by the cubic yard. Someone I know wants to sell topsoil and fill dirt to me by the ton. I know there are variances in the moisture content in dirt, but GENERALLY, how many yards are in one ton of topsoil or fill dirt?
