    Stupid Things I Have Done

When I worked on specialized emergency vehicles, I had to disconnect the battery bank on a large rescue rig (4 massive batteries) by taking off the cables. Trouble is, it was in an aluminum compartment and it was a tight fit. I grabbed my trusty 1/2” combination wrench in my left hand and...

Dude, you’re part of the Bermuda Triangle!

What have you done to your Branson today?

Didn’t take pics but my tractor is hooked up to my 550 gallon fire wagon. I’m just west of the Oregon Rd Fire in Spokane County. Over 10k acres, 0% contained, numerous structures burnt, and one fatality. My son was on that fire the moment it was reported and battled for 30 hours before he got...

branson 4720H leaking steering any one every had that issue ? how to fix

If you were local, I wouldn’t mind giving you a hand! As long as the tractor is adequately supported with HD jack stands and you use temporary longer bolts to only drop the axle a few inches, it should go smoothly.

    Replacement seat

I have a cracking seat on my 2016 3520h that I’d like to replace. What did you replace yours with?

    Stupid Things I Have Done

Now how did you manage to do that? Stuff dirt under the root balls?

What have you done to your Branson today?

Made it. There’s a company that also makes it but they didn’t list Bransons for compatibility but I see Kubota is listed. I figured since Amsung makes backhoes for BOTH Branson & Kubota, I inquired both the company and here in this forum but never got an answer so I fabricated one. It isn’t the...

    Firewood pallet

Try ICB totes? The plastic tank is cut diagonally and holes drilled at the ends to accept wire ties to allow it to be fastened on top to shed the snow. I cut a notch on one end (other side of this pic) to allow me to reach in easier.

What have you done to your Branson today?

Cougsfan - I’m only nervous on side loads when it leans one way or the other. Front load was never a worry. I generally only pluck & put down heavier trees nearby sooner than later. I mostly pull out smaller saplings to thin out the stands for healthier growth. Ning - Pine trees are extra work...

What have you done to your Branson today?

It’s technique, I grip up high and pivot the tree at the root ball to loosen it from the ground while pulling up. Once it’s loose enough, I slide the puller down and finish pulling it out.

What have you done to your Branson today?

It’s a 2016 Branson 3520h. It spends most of the time outside but it’s inside during the winter. I probably should have covered the seat from the get go to shield it from the sun but that ship sailed so I gotta replace it. The tree puller is something I built…

What have you done to your Branson today?

My daughter’s boyfriend like to garden in our garden and he has really turned it into something nice. My wife & I don’t garden so we were happy to let him do it despite the fact that he’s only 20 years old. Just recently, my daughter mentioned that he was going to ask me if he could cut down...

Hydraulic lines left open to weather?

I’d be concerned with the design of the single row of teeth. I built mine with triple rows of pinch points to securely grip saplings & small trees so they won’t break off. If it was still offered, I wouldn’t overlook it but I’d want to inspect the welds.

Chains on front or rear tractor tires for pushing snow

Yessir, I did! It came right after the snow storm. I did install the chains in the original configuration before the tool arrived as I needed traction pronto that morning. Turns out that I had to remove a cross link section and I was able to pry open the links with a long pry bar while it was...
