    Status of Everything Attachments

I sure hope they can get things resolved. I have see so many otherwise excellent companies ruined by shady contractors who use the legal system as their personal battering ram.

    Best Land Plane?

I kinda like that one but I'm not a fan of anything bolt together.

    Best Land Plane?

I have plenty of weight just need to figure out to hang it on the land plane

    Best Land Plane?

Something tells me run away from that. I'm not too sure what it is that bugs me about that system but in short it looks too complicated.

    Best Land Plane?

The side the house is on (white road possibly gypsum) never needs repairs or grading. It is like concrete but once broken loose it is like talcum powder and tons of dust. So I don't mess with it. The north or dark side has been graded repeatedly by a commercial grader that has popped out all the...

    Best Land Plane?

I was mainly talking about implement options for my specific application. Until recently I had never heard of a land plane. So who knows how many other implements I have not heard of. I also read on here that using a chain for the top link was a thing. Or an aftermarket link system to replace...

    Best Land Plane?

I do have a box blade but find it is very difficult to use on a long driveway. I use it to fix wash outs, ruts and high spots mainly. I find the box blade can quickly damage the road in an instant while looking forward to drive and not go off the cliff.

    Best Land Plane?

I already have 420# in 70#suitcase weights on hangers I put on the sides of my quick hitch. While possibly not the best placement for a land plane it sure does make a huge improvement for my scraper blade. It virtually eliminates the popping up and over larger rocks That used to infuriate me...

    Best Land Plane?

Well I messed up and waited too long. I originally wanted the Everything attachments Land plane but wasn't sure what size to get. I knew my 2840 Montana could not handle much of a land plane and I knew I was upgrading to a bigger cab tractor soon. How much bigger I had no Idea. With 0% for 84...

Tractor Sizing Looking at a Bobcat CT2540

Okay I bit the bullet and moved up to a CT5555 waiting on the backhoe delivery and install. I'm glad my dealer worked with me. I suspect that with my 4960' to 5100' elevation power production is lower than advertised. I think that the normally aspirated Daedong 3 cylinder is greatly hindered by...

Tractor Sizing Looking at a Bobcat CT2540

The brochure at the dealer is where I got my information. So you pay $2500+ for 2.7hp? That would barely offset the AC operation. That seems very odd to me. Is it possible the HP quoted in the brochure is wrong too? It says 37.6hp in the brochure Seems all the 5 series engines 50hp and up are...

Tractor Sizing  Looking at a Bobcat CT2540

I want to purchase a Bobcat 2540 but was considering a 2535 however after testing it, It is too under powered for my hilly terrain and use. I have a 13% grade section of driveway I have to grade and I don't think the 2535 will be able to do that steep grading. It barely made it with the backhoe...

    Lost 4x4 Montana 2840

Well I was doing some scraper work on my road. I had the 5' scraper on the 3 point. The material was freshly graded windrows from full size grader work. I had to move the materials the grader left blocking my gate. I heard no grinding or poping. I had to do multiple 3 point turns. The work...

    no loader down force

Well I checked my Loader pressure and found it at least 300psi down from factory specifications. I adjusted it with shims as referenced in another post. I by accident a little while back was dragging a pile of dirt while using down pressure and I that found that I stopped moving. I looked and to...
