I have used my warn m8274 for endless years, yes its heavy, but fast and very powerful. It's been rebuilt a time or two but has a receiver mount and jumper cable set up I made works great. And have several doubler blocks to help on real heavy items. Will see if I can find a photo of it in use...
Just part of owning a grapple you will find all the design flaws and get practice welding. I agree it's frustrating when you pay for something and it's not 100%. Just remember rocks and concrete are really rough on stuff and require alot of maintenance.
I have a 2084 landpride behind our old m5400 and I am really happy how it handles and definitely wouldn't want anything lighter or smaller doing similar stuff. The one I have only has single rear wheel.
So go heavy and at least 72 wide with slip clutch. You won't regret it once you write the check.
I have a loadtrail 14' dump in gooseneck with 2 7k drop axles and really like it I think it's a 2018 it's holding up really well I put a kubota b26 or a cat 259d in it. I just added a tilt trailer and with loadtrail again. I had looked at alot of other trailer brands but for the money and...
Looking at new zero turns and this seems to be one that the dealer recommends. It's for a commercial site with several different volunteers running it at different times currently we have a z950m 60 that is at 1400hrs in 5 years and just getting towards end of service. Just didn't know if anyone...
Spent a little time cleaning up around edge of the field this weekend. My 12 year old was proud of the work we got done. The grapple definitely made it a little easier, we got 3 loads and took them to other side of the farm the dump trailer saved making 15 trips and dropping stuff everywhere. I...
I have a b26tlb and can bring landplain or box blade and multiple buckets but have the loader on the neck. Trailer is a load trail 14' low profile 14,000.
I just got a load trail gooseneck dump and it seems well built. As for a tilt or sliding axle trailer can't help you. I have a dove tail gooseneck trailer and have not had much problem with it dragging, but really want to upgrade it to a hydraulic dovetail trailer easier to load and no ramps...
So in a local shopping center was always missing the stop sign and I seen them digging the other day and this is what they replaced with it. It's a 24" concrete pole poured in place that is quite deep. Can't wait to see the damage it causes.
With just the 4n1 bucketor the grapple it fits but I do have to cock the boom all the way to one side. I put some 4x6 in the neck to rest my buckets on when I have both buckets or the grader on the rear. I had to remove some concrete today and had 6 ton on last load and trailer dumped it fine...
Added a load trail low profile dump to the mix as I had sold my dump truck awhile back and missed having a dump. Didn't get a photo but my b26tlb seems to fit in it as does the m5400 if I put the bucket on the gooseneck. 14,000 14' long and 83 wide deck is around 24" high. Used Trailers For Sale...
