The ***Official*** TBN 3,000,000th Post Contest ***TBN Prizes!***

Hi Everybody,

Seems like these contests are happening more and more frequently... and they are. We're counting down to the 3,000,000th message posted to the forums, and to add a little fun to the celebration, we're going to have a contest to see who can guess when the 3,000,000th post will actually happen.

For the 2,000,000th post contest, we gave away a TBN jacket, mug, and hat---but the winner of that contest elected to donate his jacket to charity (which in turn resulted in TBN and two members donating nearly $1,000 to The National Audubon Society). For the 1,000,000th post we gave away free bumper stickers to hundreds of TBN members. For 500,000 and 250,000 we gave away free TBN t-shirts and hats. For 100,000, well, I guess we didn't give away anything.

3,000,000th Post Contest

The person who guesses closest to the time of the 3,000,000th post, is the winner. The second and third place runners up will also be recognized.

Time Zone

Please use eastern time for your guess. This way all guesses will be on an even playing field and there will be no confusion.

The Prizes
While we consider this contest to me more for fun than the prize, the winner will receive:

$100 gift certificate to the TBN store
1 TBN Carhartt Jacket (choose your size and color)
1 TBN Hat
1 TBN Mug




The 2nd place runner up will receive:

1 TBN Hat
1 TBN Mug

And the 3rd place runner up will receive:

1 TBN Mug or Hat (your choice)

***How to Enter***
To enter, simply reply to this thread with your date/time guess. Remember, be specific!

For example: September 1, 2012, 5:15PM

All times will be eastern time. If you live in California and guess 5:15PM, your entry is for 5:15PM eastern time.

Entries will be accepted from now through Monday, August 20th, 2012 only!

You may not guess the exact same date/time as somebody who has entered before you. You may NOT edit your guess after you post it.

Announcement of Winners
The winners will be announced within 12 hours of the 3,000,000th post right here in the News/Feedback forum.

The Rules
- You must be a registered TractorByNet.com member.
- One entry per person.
- You may not post the 3,000,000th message yourself. If you are the poster of the 3,000,000th post, your entry will be disqualified.
- Must not have won any other TBN contests/giveaways in the past six months (not a problem since we haven't had any)
- The winning guesses may be either over or under the actual posting time.
- A total of one (1) winner and two (2) runners-up will be awarded.
- With the exception of the gift certificate, the prizes carry no cash value and may not be reassigned or used for credit on TractorByNet.com purchases.
- TractorByNet.com will be the only and official party to decide which post is the 3,000,000th, and who the winners are. We will use the post count on the main index to decide which post is #3,000,000.

To recap:

1) Guess the date/time of the 3,000,000th post without guessing the same time as somebody who entered before you.

2) Post your guess by Monday, August 20th, 2012!

3) Wait for 3,000,000 to roll around.
