After reading a lot of Schmism's thread "will it take off?" and entering my explanation and answer (post 342 if you're interested... who would've thunk it, throw an airplane question at a bunch of tractor folks and you'll keep em' busy for weeks) my boys and I decided to make our entrant in the conveyor belt vs. airplane competition.

That second photo looks suspiciously like a lot of Big Foot, UFO and Lock Ness photos I've seen.

Will it fly? With advances in jet propulsion and computer flight control systems these days, the answer to that question is yes for almost anything.

Most modern fighters are too unstable to be controlled simply by human input and cannot be controlled without computers.
