Need 3610 Ford Tractor - CVA fuel pump rebuild kit

Need to rebuild a leaking throttle and cut-off. Suggestions where to look for CVA fuel pump rebuild kits. Thanks in advance.

Take the part/model number information) off the pump and then google it and you should be able to come up with something.

That would be a CAV pump.

All you need is a cover gasket and 4 of a single part number of o-ring. As a New Holland dealership parts manager, I stock those two part numbers, and IIRC what you need would sell at or near $10, maybe less.

Messicks prices are as follows:
Gasket PN is 381771R1 $9.93
o-ring PN 49886 @ $.63 ea.

Before you remove cover completely take note where spring is attached on both ends. I think I've read that there are u-tube video's on the internet on replacing the o-rings

Why is there wires that attach the two nuts that hold the top cover on the CAV fuel pump? What purpose do they serve?

They are a factory seal that proves nobody has made any adjustments to the fuel delivery rate or other settings. There is a lead seal crimped over the ends of the wire.

The hardest part for me was getting the cutoff lined up with that shepherds hook you can see on the back left. Took me 3 tries. Just don't tighten the nuts to much until you know it is in.
