Neat pic. You better drop some bugs in those beaks! Any idea what kind of bird?

A friend has a very small 40 acre lake and only about 4-7 feet deep, but no stumps. It was some trouble putting the boat in (no ramp) but once in the skiiing was like on glass - we'd just go in circles. Great fun 25 years ago. We used to ski on Lake Texoma and I never liked it because it was so rough and there was/is alot a boat traffic. You had to find some coves where the wind was blocked and even then, if there were bass boats in there trying to fish you didn't want to mess them up, being bass fisherman ourselves.

Stuck. 18" drifted something more than that there. Extremely unusual snowfall for southern Illinois.

This an ocean going coal barge turning around in our power plant canal after unloading. They don't have much room to spare. The barge has thrusters on the front sides that do most of the work. The tug at the side never tightened the line or touched the barge while I was watching.
