Hi, I have a G1800, and after this last snow storm which I used the blower for, I started having problems going in reverse. I thought there was snow under the pedal, but it would just not move. Now when I start cold, I have to rev the engine high to start to get it just to move forward. To...

Snow Equipment Owning/Operating  How do you break apart the auger gearbox?

My Kubota TG2742, which attach's to the front of my G1800 ate a rock...a big rock. Bunch of bent stuff. Now, I need to get the shaft input, the shaft that comes off the PTO and the fan is on, out of the gear box. The auger shaft just slid out, it was simply keyed. There are four bolts that...

I damaged a bunch of stuff last weekend when I sucked up a big rock in my Kubota blower. My gear box is keyed, and when you remove the augers, you can slide the gear box and the key falls out. it slides up/down the shaft great till you hit the shear pin holes. I suspect that there is damage...

    TG 2742 bent fan Help!

Somehow during yesterday's Nor'Easter, I managed to bend, really bend the fan on the blower. So now I need to get it out to repair/replace. I am sure this is going to not be fun, but I will need something to do in case it rains and they postpone the eagles game so they don't get wet. 1993...

    Draining the Anti-freeze.

This sounded easy enough, but when I opened the drain in the block to drain the anti-freeze, nothing came out. Figure the thermostat was shut. I presseraurizes the system till it started draining. Now I am wondering if I messed up thermostat by doing this. Thoughts? Thanks

    G1800 block heater

I decidednto put a block heater on for this winter. After last winter, I'm not taking any chances. This turned into quite the little fiasco. After finally finding the frost port and getting the plug out, I inserted the heater, moving it back and forth to center as best as possible. I screwed...

My little G1800 with 300 hours on it.

Yes, 300 is not an error. My father bought this in 1993. After 6 months he didn't like it, too small. Used the blower once. Doing a lot of work on it to bring it up to par. I'm **** retentive, I even wax my tractors. This tractor is somewhat ironic when I picked it up this year in that I...
