Is $1295 a good price on a Cub Cadet 1863, 460 hours, 48" hydraulically lifted deck...needs 4 new tires. Body panels are in good shape and seat is not torn. Starts up and runs well. I was thinking about offering $1000...This tractor is a trade in at a local JD dealer.

Which one would you buy? Assume similar 30 to 32hp compact tractors with FEL, close in price and capabilities, all dealers within 30 to 40 miles and you feel you feel ok about doing business with any of them. I will only be doing FEL work at my residence with this tractor.

A bunch of shiney new Cubs in my local HD store yesterday and one lone JD leftover marked down to $1799 from $2399 to get rid of it. They also had Toro lawn tractors...MTD bought the Toro brand too, right?? Don't know who sets the Cubs up for the store. I hope it's not the HD employees...
