    New FAE drum - with pictures New style FAE drum and teeth. The worn teeth are at 75 hours, not too happy with durability. At $59 a piece and 44 of them I certainly don't want to do that every other week. Really they needed to be changed at 40 hours.

    How steep is too steep?

    I have to bid a job with 45 degree slopes on the back side of dikes. Will the engine be OK if I mow straight up and down the slope? I am worried about the oil sump sucking air and cooking the motor? This is rotary work not mulching.

    Toughest job yet.

    This week I cleared two acres for a hunting club. It was very dense with a mix of Autumn Olive, Multi Flora Rose, Cherry, Apple and various vines. It took more then a day per acre to get to this. Lost some teeth and popped out a headlight and passed the 300 hour mark.
