any toro groundsmaster fans on here?

I read up and found a decent video about Kubota fuel solenoid. Mine has a 3 wire connection. Before the arctic blew in I was close. From what I gathered. There are 2..12v coils that together open to allow fuel flow. 1 coil takes more amps and only operates momentarily. Then a low amp coil holds...

Well I thought I had it. It starts effortlessly and operates the blade. I got the seat reinstalled hoped on it and any go peddle kills it. I’m sure it’s the safety function I can hear solenoid click fast and it dies. Is there another safety function I’m missing? I have satisfied pto, seat and...

any toro groundsmaster fans on here?

My toro running problem was a bad pto switch or circuit. It checked good with my meter. But didn’t always allow the fuel pump to run. It also only allowed the toro to idle, I couldn’t move the unit or operate it. A jumper confirmed it was that circuit.

    FEL, TORO Groundsmaster Put Together

Xfaxman, I noticed your toro w the fel and a few other groundsmasters have the deck lift arms and springs removed. My front blade can't raise much with the arms and spring in place. Is there any trick to removing these? I'd like to remove mine and I know there is probably quite a bit of tension...

any toro groundsmaster fans on here?

Some progress. I ran the trigger wire. Welded the spot. It would start consistently. I was confident about the wiring now. I cleaned and painted the plate under the control panel and replaced the fuse block. This area was nasty from being a mice cocoon. After that my fuel pump was mia, no 12v at...

any toro groundsmaster fans on here?

A new trigger wire and momentary switch did the trick. I really wanted to tie it into the key switch but I couldn’t make that happen. It took 5-6 cranking sessions of about 10 seconds each. I saw smoke at the first try so I was confident I wouldn’t have to bleed the fuel system. It starts easily...

any toro groundsmaster fans on here?

Hi, im working on a new to me toro 328d 4x4. I have been going through the shop manual trying to get mine to start. I bought it knowing a mouse had chewed some wiring under the control panel. Previous city mechanic made some attempts to fix it and gave up. My question is can I run a starter...

A little bit of progress today. It is currently no start no crank. I have instrument panel lights. I think I can hear the fuel pump clicking. Also a single click from starter solenoid. Seat switch is good. Pto position switch is good. I’ve cleaned various contacts and grounds. I haven’t found...

    Cordless Framing Nailer

I would guess we use 800-1000$ of nail gun nails every 2 months. I don’t attempt to use the cordless guns. I’ve broken and repaired so many tools especially nailers. Pneumatics are durable, reliable and they perform. And air compressors have gotten very lightweight. If I have 1 door to install...

That’s exactly what I’d like to do. The reach of the bucket is a huge plus. I traded woodworking equipment I wasn’t using for the sunstar. Hopefully getting the toro running is straightforward. Sweat equity for sure.

I guess I’m not a new member, but this is my first post. A Toro followed me home Monday. Got it in a government auction. Once it’s running and up on maintenance. I plan to remove the blade and cab and install my schwartz loader from my simplicity sunstar. Im not fast at all with these projects...
