Stump Bucket For JD 3038E?? Suggestions?

I have a Titan stump bucket. So far it has worked on old dead pine stumps 10 to 25 inches. it just pops them out of the ground in big chunks. I removed several this afternoon. The only draw back is on live or stumps around one year old makes a large hole and a lot more effort even a 10" hard...

What is some of your Pet Peeve's

Taking a week or more for a DR appointment, they ask you to arrive 30 min early, you wait in the waiting room for 1 to 1.5 hours, finally ushered to a little exam room and wait for another hour, nurse comes in for blood pressure, weight, height, why do you want to see the DR?. If you lucky 30...

    storing bucket

The contraption the bucket sits on is an architect table/stand. I like bucket where it is however, I was told the hydraulic cylinders should always be stored closed to protect the stainless steel, that would leave my bucket straight up and full of water every time it rains. The tractor is...

    storing bucket

I store my bucket on this stand for easy access should I need to service the engine or battery. Question, is there a correct way to store (park) your bucket?

    Veteran Appreciation Thread

Early on the CIA was involved in Vietnam. Mostly Green Berets and Air Commandos the GB were winning hearts and minds and the AF was flying modified T-6 Texans, T-28's and later B26's to support the GB. The only proof I have of being in Vietnam is a US Passport with a Vietnam entry visa stamp...

    Dealer XR4140 stalling

The scanner may not help this time since no codes are displayed. I would go with what bearsixty7 said above. Bad grounds and corroded battery terminals cause very weird symptoms and problems. Garry

    Tractor battery issue

New battery and everything you can think of still checks OK! Exact same thing on a friends JD. I suggested he check the ignition/glow plug switch, a few days later he said "problem solved". He didn't know how to check the switch so he replaced it for $45 and it has been working ever since...

    Stupid Things I Have Done

Not the latest dumb thing I have done but probably the dumbest. I had neck surgery C2/3 DR told me I need to wear a next brace any time in a vehicle but you are OK around the house just take it easy. We had been doing some renovation around the house before surgery and one of the things I still...

Harbor Freight Titanium 125 Flux Core Welder

I have the same welder and surprised at how well it welds. I saw a guy on YouTube use the HF welder on sheet metal, what he did was turn it "up" on the highest setting and just touched the metal for less than a second and did not blow through. I haven't had a reason to try that but it worked for...

Hitch ball / coupler near disaster

I had this problem many times with an Airstream trailer. The answer was to put the truck in neutral when the ball would not release and 99% of the time it would pop loose. Any incline forward or reverse will add enough pressure to lock the ball to the trailer.

    DK6010SE electrical issue

Corroded connections at the battery can show good voltage but not enough amps due to resistance.

What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

I'm new here, I haven't figured out how to show any details on the left. I have a 2021 LS 240MTE. I have been having trouble opening the hood, you have to push down "hard" and press in the release button "hard" wiggle it and hope it pops up. Arthritis in my left thumb does not help. Today I...
