Put a second one opposite. Works for me on my Kioti CK-30.

On several of my favorite motorcycle riding routes here in central to Western NC, I pass several Mahindra, two large Kubota and one large JD dealer, all packed with tractors. Been that way all year. Yards are full every time I pass, making me think that that not much is moving.

I've run my Kioti CK30 so much with brakes on that they now barely hold the tractor, but not on a hill or grade. It has a red light on the dash, but its fairly weak, and dust/dirt pretty well hid it.

When I drained my Kioti CK30 I was able to buy the fluid in 1 gallon jugs from a local supply house. I can barely lift 5 gal.

My CK30 is parked under a shed but it gets a lot of dampness underneath on the ground. By leaving the finish mower locked in raised position it keeps it out of moisture. Any likely damage to tractor mechanism doing this?

Is there any particular reason not to leave my CK30 in 4 wheel drive all the time? Lately with all the rain we've had I found it necessary to use it to keep from spinning while mowing. Normally, I don't need it, but out of curiosity, I'd like to know if there is a reason.

Mine has never been changed. As usual, my manual is out in shed, but I suspect it will say something like "glycol" which is not very specific what with many types of AF available. I find it confusing. It has green type but not sure what type that is. I did try searching with no luck.

With winter upon us I won't be mowing any more till spring. Will it cause any damage if I keep the finish mower locked in the full lift position? I prefer this if possible in order to keep it off the ground moisture, even tho its parked under a carport.

My HST Ck30 sits under a shed with a dirt floor and I'd like to keep the mower lifted up to eliminate some of the ground moisture. If its locked up long term, using the knob down below the seat, will that put any undue strain on any of the mechanism?

Went out to mow last evening and the CK30 HST just barely moved in reverse. Foward was good. Looked at sliding dohickies underneath but didn't see anything obvious, but tend to believe it has to do with those gadgets rather than tran problem. Tractor only has 22 hrs on it. Any ideas?

I read the earlier thread bout the treadle sticking, or being slow to return to center. Mine did it today for first time with only 18 hrs on it. It remained slow to return to center whether backing or going forward even after a couple hours of mowing. Temps today were about 75F so cold...
