    Your towing rigs and trailers

This is my rig for towing my tractors and other toys. 2001 Ram 3500 5 speed 4x4, 24 valve. Zero complaints and has pulled anything I've hooked to it. Lately I put a I performance fuel filtration/pump system in it as well as a set of gauges to let me pull heavy without guessing on costly repairs.

Anyone Had Or Know Anything About An Ariens Ta28 Tiller?

I recently bought a Ariens Trans-A-Matic walkbehind rototiller from a guy. I don't really have any pictures of it except some dark ones from before I bought it.. It has a wisconsin TH, 2 cylinder engine on it, and a 28 inch cutting width. It needs a little work but seems to be in decent shape...

Very good thread you got here and I am enjoying reading it. I'm probably one of those guys that just ran out and bought a welder so they can weld. Some of you guys are professionals so if you would put up with me as I learn, I'd appreciated it. I do have some pictures I took of some stuff I...

My attempt at making a off-road trailer.

Got some more done today. I set some boards on that we had sitting around and it looks like it will work great. 13 2x6x8 with no cutting. I left clearance so I can put larger wheels on in the future. This next one shows the angle iron I am putting around the edge. I drilled and tapped for...

My attempt at making a off-road trailer.

Got a little work done on it yesterday and today. Here are some more pictures. When I get some more 2 inch box tubing I am gonna cut the small box tubing back about a foot from the end of the larger and weld the 2 inch on the bottom out a little further and either use a pin hitch or a ball...

    Anyone collect rainwater.

Since we get city water, watering is expensive and the chlorinated water can't be that good for the plants so we are trying to find ways to collect rainwater. Here are some photos of what we have got so far. Anyone is welcome to post what they have as well. We got one 1500 gallon tank hooked up...

My attempt at making a off-road trailer.

The bed is gonna get more cross members to stiffen it up. My plan is to hinge it at these points. and then at the front to let it rest on the piece that is braced in. Those small chunks of steel are just for a shim for the picture. Think it will work or do you think I'll get to much twist in...

My attempt at making a off-road trailer.

(I call it off-road cause I don't foresee getting it registered.) I haven't had a trailer and have wanted one for quite some time so I recently collected enough stuff to start welding one together. The only thing I regret thus far is not getting a truck axle instead of a car axle. I tend to...

Ever had a 6 ply wheelbarrow tire?

A year or two ago I salvaged a tire and axle from a wheelbarrow a neighbor was throwing out. The other day I got around to taking it apart and patching the tube. The rim is a two piece thing that bolts together. The tire is 6 ply  The front tires on my tractor are only 4ply. I can't...
