Used the V417 with the stump bucket to push over a 40' tall, dead oak tree.

It measured 17.5" in diameter, 3' up.

I did not know the telehanlders were such a versatile machine til you joined the forum. I never gave it any thought. I know I saw a picture on bobcats website of them stacking snow which was cool. I guess you could use any pretty much SSQA equipment on it.

Yep, that is why they named it Versahandler!
:D

It has aux hydraulics with 22 gpm flow rate, So it will handle a lot of skid steer attachments.

It is smaller than it looks, at just 6 feet wide and 6.5 feet tall. It is the most awesome, GADA (go anywhere do anything) machine that I have ever had. I sold my tractor soon after I bought my first compact telehandler.

If you ever post a picture with your V417 using a mulcher attachment I'm going to go out and put a deposit down immediately :)

Like Bullit, I never knew how much these machines could do. I never even thought it would be an option. I don't know if I could give up the tractor, but it sure would make a good "partner" to one. I really enjoy seeing all the pictures you post, especially any heavy duty mowing pics with the 7' tree terminator!

Never considered a mulcher, but I think they require more flow.

I wasn't aware of compact telehandlers until about 5 years ago, where we used to live, we got a bid of $150 /hr. from a contractor to clean out a silted in pond. I was looking at a TORO Groundsmaster on eBay and clicked "see sellers other items". He had a Bobcat V638 listed like this one.

I said that is what I need to clean out the pond, and the rest is history.

Finally had a couple days without rain to get some hay bailed. I am hauling the 4x5's out with my 5240.
