I like this saw, I inherited it from my father-in-law.
I had to replace the coil once.
And it was stolen but the cops got it back for me.
It reminds me of him when I use it and I like that.
Does anyone know why its spitting gas out the carburetor?
Full throttle.
Starts and idles but won't rev out.
Rope pulls hard (good compression).
It ran "pretty good' after I rebuilt the carb, but the power seemed to diminish each time I used it (which was not much use).
And of course I was adjusting the mixture screws trying to get it to run better but nothing helped.
I have been able in the past to adjust mixture screws & get full power.
One guy said to check the exhaust screen.
I had forgotten about the exhaust screen dangit.
That makes sense it the power would diminish - and I will check it but the saw is 125 miles away right now.
Any other ideas?
