Buying Advice '08 TZ25DA mower deck 60CMS or 230GM?

Hello all.

I am looking to buy an 08 TZ25DA 4x4...
It doesn't have a deck and I need one. I am seeing some conflicting data out there. I called a dealer and he told me I needed a 230GM but then I see online they also have a 60CMS. I want a 60 inch deck. With the modern *****-nomics we are now living in, I want to save as much money as possble. And buy used, but of course I want the correct mower deck.

So should I be looking for a 60CMS or a 230GM?

I think I would also like to buy a front end loader soon, from what I see that would be the 10LA correct?

I have the 60CMS deck with my Boomer 1025. When I bought it with the tractor I got the 230GM manual. I asked the dealer about it and he said that they are the same decks. Parts for the 230GM fit the 60CMS and vice versa. Go with what is in your budget to buy. Both are good decks.

Is that correct the 60CMS will work in place of a 60CMS?? i also have aa TZ25 and need a mid-mower

I,m in the TZ fan club and done some homework on your issues. You will be much better off buying the tractor with your desired attachments. If you buy the tractor and find a deck, (few and far between) you will still need additional parts from the dealer to make it work and they are not cheap. If you found a loader, (even farther between) you still will need the hydraulics kit and install it.

Check TRACTORHOUSE for what is available in your areas, dealer prices, then check CL or FB for maybe a lower price. Still a lot of those units out there with less than 1000 hours.

I’ll drive 500 mi maybe more if it’s in great shape and has all the parts to mount it.
