Whoeee!! That is a (sweet) lookin' baler! :D Looks like a very nice 40 series tractor hooked up front, too?? Maybe a 2440?

Too bad it won't fit in the "overhead"...

We just got this cream puff 24 T John Deere Square Hay Baler in Today. It is a 2 owner baler and has had approx 3000 bales run through it. It is in Immaculate condition. Fresh Hay in the chamber. We are asking $3200 and it needs to be picked up at the Munfordville, Ky store (42765) on Interstate 65 about 1 Hour South of Louisville, KY and about 2 hours north of Nashville, TN. We can load on a 8 ft wide trailer. For more information and or more pictures email Greg at glsweet@scrtc.com or Call 270-524-0385. Ken Sweet

Nice baler. How about adding closeup photos of the knotters and the knives in the baling chamber. Don't like the fresh hay in the chamber. Prefer to be able to see the innards of the chamber before making a buy decision.

Hey thanks, The tractor is actually a JD 2630 with a 146 FEL. Seems we never can have enough inside storage. Ken Sweet

Knotter assemblies look to be a low bale count baler. Big fat billhook! :D No groove and pointy end there!

Some wear on the knotter pinion gear - but not excessive - especially for that model of baler!

Couldn't see the twine disc's very well - but there didn't appear to be very much slop between them.

If the chamber and the stationary knife looks like the knotter assemblies; $3,200 could get you a baler that will go another 20-30,000 bales without a dropped knot!!

Trying to time a sq baler is one of the reasons an operators manual is a necessity.

Bring plunger head rearward on compression stroke by turning flywheel CCW,trip measuring wheel to engage knotter, when face of plunger head is center in forward feeder fork slot then measure from LH side of baler to tip of feeder fork(10-12"s), continue turning FW when needles are just starting up in bale chamber and are even with the channels that are in bottom of bale case, the points on face of plunger head face should be even with needles. If adjustment isn't correct needle lift drive that is at rear and re-adjust timing. HTH,Tx Jim
