Interesting, thanks. So it is a little bigger. Guess that I'll have to educate my dealer. The bucket thing is weird. Seems like the deeper bucket would be better. Can't figure out why they are going to that style. I guess that they want it to look like a skid steer... or perhaps less metal lowers cost. :)

They probably are going with a cheaper bucket because many owners these days hardly ever have their buckets on the loader in favor of grapples, forks, etc.

Finally got a pic of the tractor after I finished dragging the wife's arena.

Tried the silicone spray on the 3 point lever. It worked and 2 hours later still no squeak. We'll see how long it lasts.

That's an interesting thought. I wonder if that really is the case? That statement is probably true of most cut owners on this forum but I am not sure that s the case in real life. I rarely see a tractor with forks on it, and could count on one hand the number of times I have seen a grapple on a tractor. Not to say that the average owner doesn't have one or both attachments but they are rare to see on a tractor sittings in someone's yard.

I would say they are selling the loader with a cheaper bucket because they can. How many cut owners do you know that have worn out a cutting edge or damaged a bucket? It happens for sure but I would magne the vast majority of machines sold never see the kind of use it takes, to wear out or damage a bucket. I wouldn't be surprised if tractor manufacturers are rakizing this and lightening up the bucket.

I don't know, I see plenty of CUTs all over (especially orange ones) that are beat all to heck.

Personally, I see the smaller buckets as a way to cut costs and lessen stress on the loader itself. I don't like it, but it is what it is.

Hey guys i've been following your post for a little bit now and have decided to join in. Im looking at a 1736 myself and i noticed one thing that wasnt brought up concerning the DL125... does it actually extend farther up front then the DL120, im really undecided yet because of the new Quicke Loader.. input is really appreciated.

Lastly, i noticed on the pictures on page 2 that the hoods are of different lengths, does this apply to cab'd tractors as well?

Thanks !
