anyone ever had a leak below steering wheel on main shaft/looks like it is leaking at small hole that has a plastic snap- in plug/about 2 inches below steering wheel and oil is running down the shaft inside dash and then leaking onto floorboard/AHH ! I HATE LEAKS !

If you have an exploded diagram on that unit, take a look at oring # 4 and seal #5 on the p-steering case.

272380 O-RING O-Ring, 1.859" ID x .139" Thk, Start Year: 10/01/1996

SBA334292268 SEAL

Probably gonna find the seal is shot, and the oring lets it weep...

good luck, and post back what ya find.

Thanks Soundguy/ Of all the parts to take off I think I dread the steering wheel the most/usually froze w/rust// Dumb question- why the plastic plug ? If oil comes out you know you got a leak?

Couldn't tell ya... I don't own a 1925.. ( but do have acces to a few parts manuals.. ) but yeah.. maybee so its to leak at the plug vs from under the wheel itself?? maybee someone like RickB or Jinman knows.. they are pretty sharp cookies and way more 'up' on these new tractors than i am.
