My 1962 IH B414 is a gasoline powered tractor. My son decided to make the exhaust into a stack instead of leaving the old one alone. Being the ramrod impatient teenager he is, he never asked me and just went ahead and made a big mess. I know at least one exhaust manifold bolt is broken. All kinds of leaking joints and welds, and different size pipes. I'd just like it to be normal and work. He welded all around the exhaust manifold where the pipe joins. It's very loose and i can tell it will break off soon. It's loud.. ugly.. AARRRRGGGHHH!!! I get mad typing this!! Anyone want a kid that knows everything??!!
So where can I possibly get a new manifold? Or maybe remove the one I have and get a gasket, and try to clean out the broken bolts? A proper pipe and muffler would be nice too. Any ideas on where to get parts, or can I properly rig up exhaust pipe and some kind of muffler without the mess he's made? i checked ebay and found nothing but an intake manifold.
i'll try to post pics to help.
thanks!!
