I have a 1992 John Deere Cab and air with loader tractor. The other day while mowing I went to push the clutch in to stop and it went to the floor and kept going, finally got it stopped by forcing into neutral let it cool down and checked all fluids and they where all good. Two days later I went back to now with tractor and every thing worked fine till two hrs later I went to push clutch in and went all the way to ground and no way to stop besides forcing into neutral. Any ideas??

No, where is it located? The dealer told me it could be my master cylinder goin out and that would be the first thing to replace before splitting tractor.

It's in front the dash. You'll have to remove the cowling(parts key #1) to access it. You're probably going get the experience what a PITA it is to bleed the air from it.

PITA=pain in the hinny. Yes you can add brake fluid but if air has gotten into slave cylinder they are difficult to get the air out of them.

I appreciate the help I really do, what do you think of the 55 series tractors? Also my rpm gage is not working any ideas?

The 55 series are great tractors. The only downfall with the cab tractors is difficulty working around the cab for alot of things. The cab needs to be pulled for a lot of repairs. Fortunately they were reliable and don't require a lot of repairs, but when they do, it gets expensive when the cab needs to come off. The tach not working could likely be the sensor which is in the front of the timing cover.
