Awesome............... like a hot knife through butter! :)

Sure is!!! That just proves that you dont need a 100hp tractor to go through the deep snow. Just go a little slower with less hp and you can come up with the same results.

How about a 1950 Oliver bulldozer. I think it's an HG-42. Clears the snow real nice. I wish it had a wider blade, it's only about 5' wide, but she pushes it nice.

Dang, I'm jealous. You guys with cabs and snowblowers.

Hey all, so far here in North Central Mass. we've been getting slapped around pretty good by mother nature, first that brutal ice storm followed by snow and lots of it....Where we live the town does not maintain the road so I take care of the road, our driveway and our neighbors too....all told about 3 hours plowing just to open everything up. I really enjoy it but these old bones are screaming for a heated cab...I'll build one this spring. Heres some pictures, have a good one, Rick

Rick,
That looks like a pretty heavy/deep snow your pushing, no trouble? Do you have any pictures on how you attached the plow to the loader? also what's the HP of the 1900?

JB.

Hello JB, yes there was quite a bit of snow this last storm but it wasn't too heavy, not powder but not bad. According to Tractor Data our 1900 has 22.1 drawbar hp and 26.9 PTO hp and the old girl was using every bit of it carrying a full blade up the hill in 6th....not struggling but working hard, that little three cylinder sounds pretty sweet with a good load on it. The plow mount I whipped up quick out of some angle I had and mounted that with four bolts throught the very back of the bottom of the bucket. The power angle is simply two hydraulic hoses plumbed from the rear s.c.v. Heres a couple of pics, take care, Rick
