Massey Ferguson 1526
I recently sold my 1948 8N and bought a 2019 Massey 1526 with a loader and blower. I have noticed that there is about a million times more online information and a thousand more places for 8N parts than for the Massey. Guess that is the downside of a new tractor.

The sales literature all showed an L100E loader and mine came with an FLx 2106. I am looking to add either a third function or a hydraulic diverter to run a grapple. I have found some good diverters online. However, Massey sells a third function kit for the 1700E series, not one for the 1526. Does anybody know how easy it might be to jerry-rig it to work on the 1526?

I plan on throwing some lights and a toolbox on the ROPS (without drilling or cutting). Just gotta find a good spot to wire into! Thanks!

Looks like the FLX 2106 is a new loader for the 1526 and 3rd function is an option through Massey. I have no experience with this I have just been looking at the Massey 1526 and found that info on their website.

I tried to post the copy and paste from Massey's website but my post count is too low.

I'm trying to do the same thing on my 1526 with an L100E Loader. I looked up the loaders that the Diverted Valve fits and compared the connectors to those on the L100E and they are the same part numbers, so it should fit. The lack of info is shocking. You could try the same thing (I used the parts lookup on Vahrenberg's site. The Dealer also said I could bring the tractor up and swap out the lines to make sure they fit. Good luck!

I don't have an MF 1526 but I do have a 1529 and so I thought I would share what I found when I wanted to power some electronics on my tractor. Hopefully yours isn't that much different.

In the attached photo, you will see the multi-pin connector near the left side of the ROPS on my 1529. If your 1526 also has this plug, you should be able to use it assuming you don't draw excessive current. If you also have this plug, your owner's manual should show it on the electrical diagram and you can see what it is fused/rated for.

Hello...the 1526 also has the trailer plug on the left side along with a wire (live) on the left side and one on the right side under/near the fender. you will need to ground the light(s). Both are on their own fuse... My ROPS lights are connected to the power on the right side rear and you will need it switched as it is live power.
