JD 5075E
Cold weather issue on my 2024 5075E with 60hrs. If the outside temp is approx. 20F or less, the cold start advance/noisy injector crackle "mode" will not shut off, but in warm weather it deactivates and runs normal/quiet after 5-10min which is normal compared to my previous 2018 5075E. No dtc codes, it is not a fuel or filter issue. My dealer said bring it in on dec 18th and don't expect to get it back until next year. Trying to avoid buying a $160+ manual.

Anyone know where the cold start advance sensor is located on the 2023+ 5E tractors? It's no longer on the thermostat housing like the >=2022 models. The 2023+ JD microfiche is vague, #19 shows a second coolant temp sensor, but not the location. Unplugging #13 results in key on error, no crank.

I'd let the dealer fix it under warranty - that's their job

I'm lucky - both my local Kubota dealers will pick up equipment with warranty issues

Welcome to TBN
The manual is cheap if you are wanting to do some or all of your own work without waiting on a busy dealers shop.

IDK, but I was looking at a new 5067E yesterday, and in most ways it's the same tractor as my 18 5075E, with a few updates. (Mainly the front wheels/tires, and no regen) Still looking at the engine there are some noticeable differences. The fuel filter setup looked different for example, and had what looked to be dual filters. I did like the new MFWD switch as opposed to the lever under the seat like my 18 has. IDK the electric switch may prove less reliable than the mechanical lever, but it seems to be way more covenant.
