The dual mid selective control valve is a four-way hydraulic valve actuated by a joystick type control. This valve routes hydraulic fluid to operate, for example, the boom and bucket cylinders of a front-end loader (FEL), or the lift and angle cylinders of a front blade.
For example on a loader, the four-ways of the valve are: Moving the joystick control back lifts the loader's boom cylinders (#1); moving the control forward lowers the boom cylinders (#2).
Moving the joystick control to the left curls the loader bucket up (#3) and moving the control to the right dumps or rolls down the bucket (#4).
Sitting on a 2210 tractor, the valve is located below the fender cowling, to the extreme right and low of the seat.
