I have one of the original 2520 with the crappy straight lift arms and connection points on the rear axles that will shear off the moment you accidently catch and implement on a rock or a stump. After several of this incidents and getting tired of the tires rubbing I welded this
. I ordered some Kabota sway chains etc. I used it some Sunday and worked flawlessly. Cutting and re-welding the arms was pretty easy as well. It took about 45 minutes and was cheaper and easier than the dealership option.
I'm not the best welder, but I'm good at grinding. I did this a 1956 tombstone buzzbox.
