3032E vs 2520

Thanks,
I always thought the two were about the same!

Yep...the 790 was replaced by the new number: 3005 in 2009 (?) so that the model numbers make a series. Same tractor...new number.

HOWEVER....IF you hang that MX5 on the back of either of those tractor models.....you may not pick it up, let alone operate it safely and efficiently. The 790 3 point is rated to lift about 850 lbs.....same as that of the MX5. I don't think you want to go there with the 790, 3005, or any 2000 series JD compact tractor. You simply wont have enough weight or lift to operate it correctly.

Yes, I saw this, Deere doesn't advise the MX5 on anything below a 3320 with 2200 lbs capacity on the three point.
I thought the MX5 and the Woods HC60 were about the same but I was wrong. Looks more like the RC2060/1060 or the LX5 is closer to it.

The MX5 must be a real beefer as the HC60 is no slouch. Actually it's a pretty good rotary cutter at the $1400.00 I paid for it.
