put my little tractor to work moving round bales on the 3pt. lifts & moves with no effort. Bales are +/- 5' dia and approx 1200 lbs.(I think)

searched for months for best machine for my needs......could not find may reviews of the 3040 before I bought. My descision was based on lifting capacity and best $$.

50 hrs on it so far....and could not be happier with it. Big enough to move hay, and small enough to mow grass around the house. Only downside so far is that the pedals and seat location are built for shorter people, I'm 6'-1" and it is a little cramped. (working on a few solutions to that)

hope this review helps someone with their shopping.

looks like fun jughead3040. You know you have a good tractor when it can move an object thats the same size or larger then what your tractor is. Things are getting cooler down here in south texas so my tractor time is also cooling off. What a bummer.

The 3040 is one awesome tractor. I sold many of them and wish I could still get my hands on them but alas, it has been phased out. Great photo.
