Wondering if anyone can comment about exhaust smoke.
Purchased the machine this spring so have never run it in cooler weather. Put the front balde on last night and ran the machine up/down the drive way. Had the lights on and noticed lots of smoke from the exhaust. Outside temp was about 42 Deg F. Engine was not at normal operating temp. (NOT) Engine oil 15w-40. The smoke may have always been there but maybe the plow blade and lights on at night made it more noticeable from the cab.
Did not run engine until NOT was reached so I am not sure if it was running rich due to cool air.

Curious to see what others say, will run engine to NOT at night with lights on and see if stops or smokes less.

My 3720 would have a little smoke when it was cold. Once the engine gets warm\hot it wasn't noticeable. Depending on the lighting conditions it is more noticeable. What you experienced is normal. The exhaust also smells stronger when the engine is cold due to poorer combustion of the fuel.

If you did not run to NOT, what you saw may have been condensation evaporating out of the exhaust system.
