Does anyone know if the 422 and 425 use the same mowers? Or post hole diggers?
Terry had told me the plates were the same, but I forgot to ask about any hydraulic implements.
I was assuming a 425 could use any 422 attachments, since the plates are the same.

I just did quick pass through both price lists, and I'd say no. Odds are the PT-422 stuff would work on the PT-425 but not the other way around because the PT-422 doesn't have the hydraulic grunt for the larger PT-425 implements. The PT-425 will probably be amused by the smaller PT-422 implements and you may have to rig up some gender benders and adaptors, but hydraulically it should go.

Looking at the specs for both, they both have 8gpm at the PTO, so I’m guessing, they will work.
If my dice roll right, I’ll let everyone know for sure. LoL

Does the 422 and 425 PTO operate at the same relief pressure?

I just did a pass through the price lists for both the 422 and 425 and they have the same part numbers, so, yes, they are the same.

However, you'll notice they don't recommend the 60" mower for the 422. It's not on the price list. 20 years ago I spoke to Terry at PowerTrac and he said you'll want and need the extra HP to spin the larger deck.

But both the 422 and 425 use the same 48" finish mower, brush cutter, post hole diggers, trenchers (but a few accessories aren't offered on the 422), brushes, snow blower, tillers, etc...

Here's the 422 price list

Compare the parts numbers. They are the same.

I'd call Terry at PT and tell him the tasks you want to do and see what he recommends as to if the 422 will do them well.

If I can do the financial gymnastics, and clear some other hurdles, I’m going to try to add an extra 425 to my garage.
But it is a long shot.

That's odd - pulled them both and they were NOT the same. Huh. Must be something cashed on this PC or something. My apologies.
