My front tires cut wet ground worse than the loaded (RimGuard) rears. I'm a "loaded" fan.

I too went through this dilemma with my 4310 recently. After reading ALOT in here I decided to go with the loaded tires.

Reasons I thought were interesting/valid:
-As dmp said most peoples' experience was that the front tires cut the turf more than the rears-even when loaded.
-When you have loaded tires your extra weight is resting on the rims and tires NOT on the wheel bearings
-Lower center of gravity
-Cheaper than wheel weights

Obviously there are two sides to this coin but I went with the Rimguard and so far I'm pleased.

Either way, you own a Deere so you'll be happy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

After running mine for a while now, I will add that hanging ballast is really a must. I've rocker her a few times when running with just the Imatch hitch on the back, and am quite certain it could have gone over had I not played it safe...
