I've been wanting a 4WD indicator and a Voltmeter for my tractor so I ordered the parts last week.
Today I received the rest of my parts and got everything installed. Started with the 4WD indicator. Made a bracket out of angle steel to mount the long lever micro switch. Test fitted everything, drilled and mounted the switch to the bracket under the tractor then drilled the arm that moves when 4WD is engaged and bolted in place. Ran the pair of wires up from the switch through a small hole in the brake pedal rubber boot where it goes through the floor. Removed dash side panels and 4 screws that hold the top section of the dash. Found a couple empty spots large enough for the 4WD light and the Volt meter. Drilled a 3/4" hole for the light and a 1" hole for the meter. There is an empty terminal on the ignition switch the becomes hot with the key on so that is my power source for both. Each has a ground that goes to chassis ground under the dash.

All items bought on fleabay with free shipping.
The Volt meter was $8.99 (is available in different color readout, I chose blue)
4WD light was $26.95 (I wanted it to read 4WD and also available in different colors) any 12V light would have worked just as well at $5-6.00
Long lever micro switch was $8.95
Misc. nuts, bolts, wire, angle

Nice upgrade, I might do something like that for my differential, e brake and 4wd in the future.

I agree with everyone else --- nice work; I like it!!!

Yes ---- the lock/unlock is cruise control.

Nice work, George, as usual.

The 3135 has a voltage readout integrated into the main display.

... and yes, the "lock" switch is the cruise control on/off/set.

Oh, cruise for HST. Interesting that it's just a switch... Does that mean that the HST is now electrically controlled?? Does the pedal stay locked in position, or does it pop up when you set cruise?

Yeah, the whole bottom and right side of my digital dash display have a bunch of stuff in there that LS decided not to hook up or turn on like road speedometer, clock, volt meter, and probably a 4x4 display etc. so I have to install my own.

When you get to the speed you want and hit the (cruise) lock switch I hear a solenoid kick in and the HST pedal stays in position. Also a cruise light on the dash comes on when in cruise.
