I have a Cub 7272 and added a sub-frame mounted Woods backhoe last fall. At the same time I changed the hydraulic-transmission fluid and filter. Now when I run the tractor, if I operate the front end loader or the backhoe, there is a screech from the belly of the tractor. I am assumming this is the hydrauilic pump and the relief is lifting? The screech is not there for the whole range of motion, only at certain points. When adding a hoe, does the relief need adjusted? I used the fluid Tractor Supply sells but have used that in the past with no problems. Any ideas?

Make sure the fluid you used is compatable with your machine; there are different specs for different machines.

Make sure they plumbed the hydraulics right.

Could something be binding, causing the pump PRV to lift?
