I'm in Conklin -- a little town just outside of Binghamton. From what I can figure it's about 130 miles southwest of you.
I figure when I bought the property the view was part of the deal. So in a sense, it is my backyard -- and it probably looks a lot like your backyard too. Many people think of NY as the city. Most of NY looks a lot like our backyards. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Nice photos! I'm about 50 mis. NW of Binghamton in the town of Richford. We're almost neighbors!
I don't know how to post photos in the body of the message but I can attach them. Here's 3 photos from our yard looking southeast and south. These shots were taken last night about 5:30pm and I'm still not getting great exposures with the long shadows at this time of day. The valley leads to the town of Berkshire.
You're not even 50 miles. I drive through Richford a couple times a week during the spring, summer and early fall on my way to Ithaca. I go sailing on Cayuga Lake. It's only 50 miles to Ithaca from my place.
It's a beautiful drive -- especially at this time of year. Nice pictures! Thanks for sharing.
