Last fall I picked up a set of coulters for my 2 bottom plow. When plowing the food plots I was getting alot of grass/weeds hanging up in the frame, did some research and decided adding these could help. I knocked down the growth with the cutter and was still having problems so coulters were ordered. I meant to put these on over the winter but just got around to it.
Mounting them wasn't that hard. I located the brackets, took the frame apart and put the pieces on the drill press to bore the holes. Then I welded the brackets in place, put the frame back together, and mounted the coulters. The u-bolt that came with them was too short for the front coulter so I took some threaded rod and made a longer one. To finish it off I primed and painted the brackets.
Now if only I could get some dry weather this week I will try the unit next weekend.
