In the interest of running a dirt pan with remote hydraulics, is it possible to add remote hydraulics to a Massey Ferguson 35 Diesel Deluxe (year unknown)?

Sure...you can get a divider valve to mount on top of the tranny case at your Massey dealer or other tractor parts places and then add hoses and remote connectors. Limits use of your three point however.

Is it a single acting or double acting remote hydraulic valve you need?
Single acting will be very "easy". Adding such a diverter valve and then you can operate it with the normal 3pt linkage controls but keep the 3pt linkage in whatever position you want. Without a valve, if the remote outlet is connected together (linka a T-crossing) with the 3pt linkage it will strive to equalish the load, so the one (3pt linkage or remote cylinder) that requires the least effort will first be lifted/extended. Not so fun...

If you need a double acting valve you should still get this diverter vavle but after it you need to bring it into a spoolvalve for double acting and then let the return flow go into the transmission housing somewhere so the oil gets back (as it shouldn't go through the connection it came from).

On the MF 100-series with the bigger auxiliary gear pump (can power multipower function but multipower can also be supplied by a weak gear pump) it can be used for remote hydraulics and it will work totally independent of the piston pump that powers the 3pt linkage.

Now, if I remember correctly the MF 35-X had multipower. IF it has a big gear pump for it and IF it is like on the 100-series where there are outlets next to where the PTO lever goes in, then it can be made to use this for remote hydraulics (or even in conjunction with the normal piston pump). But it's a lot of IFs as I'm not familiar with how the multipower on the 35-X is made.

A drawback is that the gear pump can't create so much presure as the piston pump but it (on 100-series) have a higher flow rate.
