Advice on clearing two acres (video inside)

I'm waiting on a quote to clear about 6 acres from a pro outfit that does clearing for commercial building and such. Nice family operation that has the big machines that can come in and grab a tree and cut it off with a blade then spin around and drop it in a pile where it would be picked up and fed into a whole tree chipper. The chips then get sold to local pulp mills. They are also going around the adjacent woods (a road is already in place, so access is not a problem) to survey any board grade trees that can offset the costs using a computer that can estimate down to the board the current value. The cost per acre is high but I think that is everything removed and the land graded and everything done in a couple of days. I'll ask if they leave the tops and don't bother grading, i.e. leave the mess for me to clean up, if that will keep the costs down.
