I have my old gutted Vermont American heavy duty BBQ sitting out front waiting for me to haul it away for scrap. Stop! I routinely got that thing up to around 700+ or hotter, actually no idea how hot. Had nothing that could measure the temp higher than the pegged thermometer.This is how it started..View attachment 679125

It ain't easy to find a quality (old) anvil that one can afford.I'm going to try and hunt down an old used anvil for my next anvil. I bought my last 55lb anvil off of amazon and it's basically a glorified door stop. The only problem is I'm lazy too lazy to search for a new one...
I like the whimsical feet on the stand.
