Just remember in a lot of survival forms their plans are to get to the "country" as fast as they can. Which means a lot of people with limited supplies.

The only problem is that in a doomsday scenario, once people become aware of your position and that you have what they want/need, sooner or later, they will eventually overrun your position, no matter how well you are armed.

It's a numbers game. Whenever there are more of them and less of you, they will eventually win, every time.

Yep..and don't forget they will use any means necessary...they can always burn us out too...just how are we gonna defend against that ?

I believe that the only real defense would be to stay small and mobile, avoiding other people and especially populations of any size, while living off of whatever you could scavenge along the way. One would have to remain hidden whenever possible and guns would only be used as a means of last resort, even for hunting, because nothing would draw the attention of people faster than the sound of a gunshot.

In a doomsday scenario, it would be absolute anarchy with every man, woman, and child fending for themselves. Crimes of virtually every magnitude would be commonplace and lawlessness would prevail, with any sign of weakness being exploited by the strong preying on the weak, and eventually on each other.

The very worst of humanity would reign supreme, at least in the beginning anyway.

I remember reading about a guy who survived in serbia for years, he said they used gravy all the time it made everything much more edible. He also said stock up on tp!
