This summer I would like to get a backhoe for the CaseIH 885XL to do some trenching and digging around the farm and I am exploring some options. A local wrecking yard has an '05 Komatsu extendahoe they are willing to cut in half for me for a few thousand bucks.
Anybody modify a real construction backhoe into a 3ph version?
I know we are talking some serious weight and forces here. The Komatsu has a spec of 30GPM at 3000 psi and my 'little' Case only has 15 GPM at 2500psi so the boom wouldn't achieve its original capability
