What this is going to be used for is to make a posi rearend for an antique puller tractor. This is a setup that has been installed in 460 Farm all puller. This clutch pack is installed on the brake pinion shaft. The large nut is used to adjust the pressure. If the rear end was locked, it would be very hard to turn. What this does is make both rear tires turn together at the same rate under a hard pull but if you need to steer, you hit the brake pedal, which releases the clutch pack, and once the tractor is pointed in the right direction, the rear end locks up again. We understand how to make this work but need to find out the application this clutch pack was originally used for so we can buy another one.
