Anyone collect rainwater.

I picked up theses 2 tanks on ebay for 25.00 each. they hold 275 gallons, One is used to collect the rain water, and then i pump it into the trailer. I can then use the tractor to pull it around the place for my wife to water her plants.

Over here they are called IBCs - Intermediate Bulk Containers - 1000 litres (275 US gallons, 220 UK gallons).

They are also available in black, which reduces algal growth - I have two black ones on my shed. I also got adapters to connect a hose pipe directly to the tanks. They also came steam cleaned - so no remnants of what was last carried. I wish I had paid $25 for them - these were £50 each!
