I'm the OP on this thread and when I started it could not imagine anything but saddle soap and boot polish for my dryland workboots. After this thread, however, I was convinced that boot oil was the right way to go and used the stuff in the bottle below. I was a little nervous but the boot oil below has made my boots soft and beautiful in a way I never expected. I highly recommend oil. Boot oil is way better than saddle soap with polish and I've learned a lot from this thread. Thanks for all the help.
You guys are right and I should be putting boot oil on. I happen to have some of this Fiebings Prime Neatsfoot Oil compound. Think OK?
