B2320, B2620, and B2920

thanks for the points Bandit and Chuck, I had it in my gut that the BH70X may be a little too big for the new B's, but man I wish the BH65 would swing 180, want the cake and everthing else. I'll need to talk to the dealer, didn't know about the extra weight needed in the front. I slightly view the extra tractor weight and size of the 2630 slightly negatively as more compaction for the lawn/yard, ruts, harder to maneuver, etc. From below, the 2630 is $600 more than the 2920, so yeah I have some thinking to do...

w/ FEL, hot-plug, loaded tires, hook:
B2620: $15,200
B2920: $15,800
B2630: $16,400 (last fall's price though)
B3030: $17,600

so Bandit $1800 more gets you the 3030...

Hopefully, this is a shortcut to the manual for the mounting of a Bh70x on a B7xxx series. On page 7, you will see the front weights I was talking about. They do a good job of balancing the tractor, but look awkward to remove alone.

Hmm, that didn't work, let's try this:
Well, I'm not having much luck getting a picture from a pdf file attached here....

Nice pics, HST is toe and heel...

PTO Specs:
noticed that the B20s for the PTO spec mentions 'Transmission driven with one way clutch' while the B30s mentions 'Independent'. What is the difference?

I'm sure that is a misprint. The "transmission driven" applies to the 2320 with the gear transmission.

If the difference is only $1800, I think I'd be choosing the 3030 over the 2920. Sounds like a good deal for a bigger FEL bucket, higher FEL capacity & higher reach, higher 3pt capacity, more hp, more torque, the far superior live independent PTO & position control. And if that's the case, it sounds like the B2920 is the same price as the B7800. Another $500 gets me the fender mounted FEL joystick on the bigger machines. Guess I'll have to put up with a separate seat for the backhoe.

It'll be interesting to see the numbers from the dealers I've contacted. I'm really surprised at such a small price difference between the 2920 & 3030.

Chuck, are front weights needed when using the BH70x on the B2630?

Any idea on MMM costs vs 26/3030

It looks like the drive over 54", and 60" decks for the B20 series will be less expensive than the existing decks for the B 30 series. Early price info that I have seen puts the new 60" deck at around $2200 msrp. I think the 60" for the B30 series is around $2500+ but don't quote me on that.

I don't think the front weights are required when mounting a BH70x on the B30 series, though I have seen B7800's with two of the plate shaped weights. ( The B7xxx requires 8 weights)
