When i brought my backhoe home I only got a 12" toothed bucket and decided a 24" ditching bucket would be very useful. So i removed the bucket and drew up prints and over the last month at work and home i now have a new bucket that works great.

That's a good looking bucket. What thickness of steel did you use for it? I might make a stronger one for my backhoe, but not sure if I'll make one or just buy one.

I'll probably just wind up buying the one for the harbor freight trencher 3 Tooth Trencher Bucket and put it on my backhoe. I guess if the ears don't fit, I could always cut the welds and reposition them to make them work.

Plus I'm not all that good at getting good straight cuts. And that's why my current bucket is crooked.

If I may ask? How much did it cost to make it?
