Backup camera

I got an Amazon unit for my SS. Those tractors have zero rear visibility. The unit I got can toggle between 2 cameras. I have one camera up high with a long view. And one mounted down a bit with a wider angle lens to see things close. Just a toggle switch to move between views.
I put another wireless backup camera set up in my daily driver. The camera connects to the reverse light for power and the screen connects to key switched battery power. It works okay. Not as good as OEM but much better than nothing.

I made a portable camera system powered by cordless tool batteries. I use strong magnets to mount the monitor and cameras anywhere they are needed.

They can be placed almost anywhere, even on the ground near the work area.

Sure, there are portable camera systems available but they are expensive and use proprietary batteries, which always seem to be dead whenever you need the camera. This idea uses any cheap wireless camera system, and cordless tool batteries, which most of us keep around anyway:

I made up this system for around $120, less the cost of the batteries.
