The flywheel on my Wallenstein BX40 is badly warped. I've inquired w/ Wallenstein about a replacement, but I'm not holding my breath.

Has anyone had experience have a warped flywheel repaired? Any recommendations in the SE Pennsylvania area?

For what its worth, I took measurements around the flywheel, and the warping is generally symmetrical.

The only thing that matters is that the knives are in one plane. How do they look as they pass the anvil?

Posted too soon. Just lined everything up and its running beautifully.

It was up to 1/8 out of plane, but the knives lined up good.

Sounds like my BX62s. Measured at the very outside of the flywheel is might be as much as an 1/8 of an inch. Measured at the anvil/blade interface its less than 1/64th of an inch. Chip on!!!
